Ginger oil is obtained from the tuberous rhizomes of this reed-like Asian plant. In the Far East, ginger is known for its special medicinal properties. The roots are used for many ailments and disorders: from fever, colds and flu to cramps, nausea and muscle pain. The warm, spicy woody aroma has a sweet undertone and evokes the scents of citrus and coriander.

Essential or ethereal oil is a very precious, concentrated liquid that is extracted through distillation from the flowers, leaves, roots and stems of real plants, flowers and herbs.
