When we moved from central Amsterdam to Wellington's south coast, I fell completely in love with my new ocean backyard. During a phone conversation with Isaac not long after the move, I said, "I know there's no 'ocean' ingredient, but god, I wish we could capture this incredible life force in a fragrance." Isaac's reaction prompted the birth of Cyan Nori.
